Plaque style, manufacturing
Our cast aluminum plaques are handmade in an artisanal and traditional way.
A unique sand mold is created for each plaque. Molten aluminum (or brass) is then poured into it. This mold is then broken to retrieve the raw plaque. A whole preparation process follows: deburring, polishing, and then painting the background and the raised relief.
Keep this in mind for production times. These plaques don't come out of a machine at the push of a button. We have optimized the entire manufacturing process, but some steps cannot be rushed.
We can also create modern-style plaques using screen printing on vinyl, applied to a laminated aluminum base. This style of plaque is ideal for reproducing complex color patterns or for incorporating a photo.

Colors
A color palette is available. And if you can't find the color you want, just ask us!
For the best result, it is advisable to choose sufficient contrast between the background color and the raised relief color.
Payment method
At Mat'Horse, we work on trust!
Our customers trust us to make their product, and we trust our customers to honor their commitment to the order. As a general rule, you can therefore choose to pay by invoice.
Depending on the invoice amount and if postal or telephone information does not allow us to verify customer details, we reserve the right to request payment before delivery by bank transfer, credit card, or TWINT. We accept major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
The invoice is due within 15 days of receiving your items.
The invoice is found in a sleeve attached to the envelope or package, even when the delivery address is different from the billing address. When you return merchandise already paid for within 30 days under the satisfaction or refund guarantee (only for items in stock, excluding customized products), the amount will be refunded to you upon receipt, either directly to your bank account or in the form of a store credit.
Delivery times
Delivery times are indicated on each product page. However, since our plaques are custom-made according to your specifications, in an artisanal manner, you should generally expect shipment between 2 and 6 weeks after ordering.
For items in stock, generally a maximum of one to two weeks.
For customized items as well as signage, allow between 2 and 6 weeks depending on the season.
For competitions, a lead time of 3 to 4 weeks is required. In any case, ordering as early as possible is always preferable, especially during peak season.
